How the NSA Score works

The NSA Score, short for Nepal Stock Analysis Score, rates a stock from 0 to 100 using its daily price and volume history. It is made of three parts:

70%
Composite score

Trend 35%, momentum 30%, volume 20% and volatility 15%.

15%
Agreement

How strongly the individual indicators point the same way.

15%
Trend and volume

Whether trading volume confirms the direction of the trend.

The score falls into one of five bands:

75–100 Strong Buy 60–74 Buy 40–59 Neutral 25–39 Sell 0–24 Strong Sell

The bands describe what the indicators show today. They are not a forecast or a recommendation to trade.
